Any age and education level can participate (high school, university, etc) and open to any country (you do not have to be Canadian to enter).
Groups will compete in groups of 4- participants do not need to have previously participated in KINterns to be able to enter. If you cannot find a group, I will organize a google doc/ excel where people can look for group members. Join the slack channel to be notified (to join slack channel email me your email and say you want to join the slack channel).
Winners will receive a cash price, have their case answers published on the KINterns website, and be offered opportunities to mentor future case competitions. More details about number of winners and exact prices TBA.
Each group will be assigned to a mentor that can assist them during the competition. Mentors will not be judging.
There will also be at least one workshop that participants can attend to ask questions, learn more about clinical techniques and rehab, and expectations.
Cost of entry is 20$ per group ($5 per person). This is to cover the cost of judging (will be judged by certified professionals), cash pool for cash prize, as well as other administrative costs.
